Short version: EC Scripts doesn't collect your data. No accounts, no ads, no tracking, just anonymous counts of visitors and downloads.

What we collect
Almost nothing. There's no sign-up, no contact form and no advertising, the site sets no cookies of its own, and free scripts download straight away without asking who you are. The site keeps two numbers, shown on the About page: unique visitors and free script downloads. To count each visitor, and each download, once a day, the site turns your IP address and browser name into an anonymous code, mixed with a random value that changes every day. The code can't be turned back into your address and is deleted the next day, nothing is saved in your browser, and your IP address is never stored.
What your browser keeps
Two small settings are saved in your own browser so the site remembers them: whether you muted the music, and your choice about YouTube videos. They never leave your device, and clearing this site's data in your browser removes them.
Videos
Portfolio videos are hosted on YouTube. If you allow it, they play on this page in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube can set its own cookies once a video plays. If you don't, nothing loads from YouTube and you can watch the videos on youtube.com instead. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Buying a premium script
Premium scripts are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which runs the checkout and handles payment and tax as the merchant of record, under its own privacy policy. Lemon Squeezy shares the order with us, including your name and email address, so we can deliver your script and help if something goes wrong. We don't use them for anything else, and we never sell or share them.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare can keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser and time of a visit) for security and to keep the site running, under its own privacy policy. We don't use them to identify anyone. Fonts and code are served from the site itself, so opening a page doesn't send anything to other companies.
